This peace lily didn’t bloom for nearly 18 years then suddenly it did last year in late February just after my mother died. And it bloomed again this year during the last week of January. It’s amazing that it could survive and thrive considering how it goes through periods of neglect followed by vigorous overwatering. My mother would often take pity on this poor plant when she visited and try to spruce it up by pruning the brown leaves. She is apparently still taking care of it.
